New TTiD 'Diesel Saab 9-5 sedan

What is it?
The flagship TTiD 'Diesel Saab 9-5 sedan, complete with brand new twin-turbo 2.0-liter diesel, which will also supply end of the Opel Insignia.
And it was a car with a heavy weight on my shoulders. Different ranks, the British automotive press, as one has expressed the same criticism of smaller 2.0-liter Saab TIME '160 9: e -5: There is no lack of consensus that the car enough power and refinement, and not efficient enough to be on British roads.

Saab responded to his name to those criticisms. This month, the improved standard 'Vector' specification for 9-5 include full leather seats, wheels 18I. More importantly, the revised chassis settings standards passively damped 2.0-liter 9-5 TID for convenient set-up with a lower rate springs and dampers, softer anti-roll bars and more bikes.

At the same time launched the Saab 187bhp, twin-turbo 'TTiD "9 to 5 is not only a better performance than the 158bhp time, but is available with an optional all-wheel drive' XWD '. Which means that even the front-drivers to get Saab sophisticated "Linked H-arm rear suspension.
How does it feel?
This new engine is much more sensitive than the Saab regular, single-turbo 2.0-liter diesel. Sub-2500RPM is much less boring than it was in our car on the road to test and refine the engine below 3000rpm is better. 9-5 feels fast, even in this form, because these high standards - but at least it is quieter and easier to ride on normal cranks.
Our test car was in the "Aero" specifications, sports suspension and alloy 19IN: Judgement at 9-5 comfier new standard chassis set-up, and will have to wait.

However, Saab driving sense "continuous active dampers, and variable power steering system on board (or where our first road test car was equipped with it), this test car certainly rode and managed better than we expected." Comfort "mode, the suspension sucked urban sewage and bumps pretty good. It also had a better high-speed body control, and users are exposed to lower his head to throw, but our road test car.
Should I buy?
Saab 9-5 2.0 TTiD Aero:
This new version of 9-5 shows that if you dress the right choice and go for the latest diesel engine, Saab you the highest standards for class. Sponge-like, lifeless steering and impressive chassis means you definitely never a driver, but it is certainly spacious and attractive, and - with the engine at least - very well behaved.
Price levels nearly at eye level with the BMW 525d and Mercedes E250 CDI is a tough 9-5 to recommend to the car, but it certainly appears that after the fatal Early Show, Saab is now the largest salon in the right direction to develop .
